One of the largest travel trade events in Mexico draws to a close today.
The show, which took place in Mazatlan, featured special programs showcasing the riches of Mayan culture, a national photography competition and a Mexican-themed performance by Cirque du Soleil.
Attendees represented both 54 foreign countries and local industry officials. Currently rated as the world’s 8th most popular country to visit, a jump to the 5th most popular rating is expected before 2021 with a possible 50 million annual visitors.
